System Requirements
Minimum (Basic Use)
- • OS: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, or Ubuntu 20.04+
- • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or AMD equivalent
- • RAM: 8GB (16GB recommended)
- • Storage: 15GB free space
- • Generation Speed: ~30 seconds per image
Recommended (Best Experience)
Best- • OS: Windows 11 or Ubuntu 22.04+
- • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB or better
- • RAM: 32GB
- • Storage: 30GB+ SSD space
- • Generation Speed: ~5-10 seconds per image
Note: AMD GPUs are supported but may have reduced performance. Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) Macs are supported with optimized performance.
Quick Start (5 Steps)
Download & Extract
Download the LocalForge-AI.zip file from your purchase email. Extract it to a folder with plenty of space (e.g., C:\LocalForge or ~/LocalForge).
Run Installation Script
Double-click the installation file for your operating system:
- • Windows: Double-click
install-windows.bat - • Mac: Double-click
install-mac.command - • Linux: Run
./install-linux.sh
Enter Your License Key
When prompted, paste your license key from your purchase email. It looks like this:
Launch LocalForge AI
After installation completes, launch the application:
- • Windows: Double-click
start-localforge.bat - • Mac/Linux: Double-click
start-localforge.sh

You're ready to go! Type your first prompt and click "Generate". Your first image will take a bit longer as the model loads.

Common Issues & Solutions
Installation script won't run on Windows
Solution: Right-click the .bat file and select "Run as Administrator". If Windows Defender blocks it, click "More info" then "Run anyway".
"CUDA out of memory" error
Solution: Lower your image resolution. Start with 512x512 instead of 1024x1024. Close other GPU-intensive applications.
Browser window doesn't open automatically
Solution: Manually open your browser and go to http://localhost:7860
Generation is very slow
Solution: Make sure you're using your GPU, not CPU. Check that NVIDIA drivers are up to date. Reduce image dimensions or sampling steps.
License key invalid error
Solution: Copy the license key directly from your email (don't type it). Make sure there are no extra spaces. Contact support if issue persists.
Mac: "Cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer"
Solution: Right-click the file, hold Option key, click "Open", then confirm. Or go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy and click "Open Anyway".
